It seems Madhur Bhandarkar's Calender Girls has put him into rough waters much before its release.
According to an English daily, a Fatwa has been issued by Pakistani government over the film's content, as they feel the film will leave a negative impact on the women of their country.
A dialogue from the movie, ''Pakistani ladkiyan bhi utne hi bold kaam karti hai jitni baki ladkiya karti hai; balki kabhi kabhi usse zyada bhi" (Pakistani girls do equally bold work as other girls; and sometimes more than them too) is the reason Pakistani nationals are not happy.
The film is scheduled for a release on 25th September 2015.
