It’s well-known information that most signals of ageing are externally created rather than the mechanics of natural ageing cells. Yet, there are some women who refuse to step out of the house without a thick layering of make-up. Well, here’s a wake up call…
Method make-up:
Use a skin friendly and mild cleanser before applying make-up. Use an alcohol-based toner to constrict the pores on the skin. Moisturise face well. Use the right kind of make-up depending on your skin type. Oil-based make-up is recommended for dry skin and water-based make-up for oily skin. Use make-up products with sunscreen eg. lipstick, concealer and foundation. Do not share make-up brushes and puffs as they can spread infection.
Healthy habits: Drink water and juices to hydrate your skin. Remove make-up asap.
Never sleep with the make-up. Use a gentle make up remover. Be gentle while removing make-up. Do not scrub harshly. After cleansing, use a toner to remove leftover impurities. Be extremely careful with removing eye make-up. The area around the eye is very delicate and can be easily damaged. After removing make-up, use a good quality moisturiser.
