There is good news for Malayalam actor Dileep's fans and followers! The Ramaleela actor is expecting his first child with wife Kavya Madhavan, and the couple will very soon be parents to a beautiful baby.
A family member close to the couple was quoted by India.com as saying, “All the family members are delighted with this news. Dileep’s daughter Meenakshi will have a sibling now. Kavya and Dileep are very happy about it.”
This is Dileep's second marriage. He tied the knot with Kavya in 2016, after parting ways with his first wife and actress Manju Warrier. Dileep has a daughter, named Meenakshi, with his first wife Manju.
Meenakshi she is currently living with her father.
The popular actor recently made it to the headlines after the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) decided to reinstate him. The association’s decision took the industry by storm and received flak from several actors.
As reported, actress Rima Kallingal, Remya Nambeesan, Geethu Mohandas have quit AMMA following the unwelcome decision.
Not only this, Dileep was also arrested last year by Kerala police for hatching a plan to kidnap and molest a Malayalam actress. He was in Aluva jail for nearly three months before coming out on bail. He is still battling the case in Kerala High Court.
On the work front, Dileep was last seen in the period drama Kammara Sambhavam, opposite Tamil actor Siddharth.
