Marathi actor Adesh Bandekar, who unsuccessfully contested the Maharashtra Assembly elections, is all set to return as anchor of the show he is known for, `Home Minister'.
Bandekar would re-enter the show from January 14.
`Home Minister' is a popular game show on Zee Marathi exclusively for women in which they bag an expensive sarees as a gift.
Bandekar has hosted over 2,000 episodes of the show, which he left to enter electoral politics last year. He contested on a Shiv Sena ticket from Dadar constituency here. He was replaced by Jitendra Joshi, another noted Marathi host and actor.
Besides Bandekar's comeback, another change is being introduced in the show. Now onwards, children of the participants, too, would have a major role to play in winning the show, a release from the channel said here today.
