On August 1, Marvel posted on their official YouTube channel, an entire recap of Marvel's Phase One and Phase Two.

In 2008, with the release of Iron Man, Marvel did what no other studio has done before. It created an intricate web of connections between several key characters in the Marvel Universe, through stand-alone films, ensemble films, and a television show based on a spy agency. The video takes you back to all the 10 films that have released so far, beginning with Iron Man and ending the with recently released Guardians of the Galaxy. Apart from taking you through the impressive journey, the video also gives you the first look at Josh Brolin who will appear as the fearsome Thanos in Guardians as well as a smaller teaser of Ultron, who will be played by James Spader, appearing in Avengers: Age of Ultron, the final chapter of Phase 2 slated to release in May, 2015.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is ever expanding, and stronger than ever. And while Marvel Comics are making big changes to the comic book versions of Captain America and Thor, they may soon have to make some changes to the Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man as well, if the rumours of his death are to be believed. Paul Bettany will join in as The Vision in Age of Ultron, while Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist make their debut on Netflix.

Daredevil will hit TV screens on 2015, with the others soon to follow suit and, there's also a Doctor Strange film in the works, so that amounts to a whole bunch of new Avengers that will join the ranks.

Although major players, Spider-Man, Wolverine and the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four still won't make it into the Marvel Universe as of now, because they are owned by Sony and Fox. Here's a look at a cool fan made film that let's you see what it would be like, to have a complete set of Marvel players.
