The modelling and entertainment industry in India is huge and many names have showcased their caliber with their distinct talents. Amiee Misobbah, who goes by her real name Nazma Sultana, is a beautiful model and actress who made her way in the world of showbiz at a very young age. Hailing from Guwahati, Assam, Amiee started her modelling career merely at an age of 15. At 21, she decided to pursue a full-time career as an actress and since then she is following her dream.
Amiee is widely known for her stint as a model and she has won a couple of beauty pageants in a career spanning just 7 years. The 23-year old diva has done shoots and advertisements for various leading brands in India and abroad. With having done 6 advertising projects in 2019, her acting debut happened with a Tamil music album which released earlier this year in March. Besides this, she has done several promotional events with many bigwigs of Bollywood including Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Mika Singh amongst others.
As a kid, Amiee always dreamt of being in front of the camera. “The world of glitz and glamour always fascinated me and after my college, I took a leap to pursue acting as a career”, said the actress. Adding to it, she revealed that her journey as a model helped her perform at various events after which she realised her calling for acting. At this age, Misobbah has not restricted herself to acting but is venturing as a producer as well.
Speaking about juggling between two personalities, she said, “My dream was to become an actress and I am already in the thick of it. Though owning a production house was not envisioned so early in my career, the COVID-19 pandemic scenario made me explore my creativity to the fullest which gave birth to a production house of my own” Amiee further explained that her vision is not just to make it a mainstream media production house but something unique and creative wherein her team can work virtually from anywhere in the world thereby minimizing the risk of physical proximity. Thus enabling us to leverage and collaborate with skills from all over the Globe.
Being an actress and a producer at the same time, she feels independent to take creative decisions and Amiee has got a lot of interesting projects in the pipeline. For 2021, the actress turned producer spilled the beans about her first project which is a Hindi music album with Punjabi tunes. “We have finalized our shoot in Dubai, scheduled during the next month and the album will be released most probably by the end of March 2021”, she added.
