Megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th film launched at son Ram Charan's office!

The muhurat for the new film took place at Ram Charan's new production office, who is producing the film.

It's official! Chiranjeevi's 150th film was launched on Friday morning at Ram Charan's production office in Jubilee Hills. The Megastar will be seen in the Telugu remake of director AR Murugadoss' Kaththi to be directed by VV Vinayak.

Chiranjeevi, 60, moved away from films when he got into politics but is now back with this film. The muhurat for the new film took place at Ram Charan's new production office. He will is producing the film. His production company is called Konidela Production Company and they unveiled its logo a few days ago.

At the pooja, Allu Aravind switched on the projector for the first shot which was directed by Naga Babu. The shoot began with its first clap by Paruchuri Venkateshwara.

The music for the film is by Tollywood's rockstar DOP Rathnavelu will handle the cinematography. The filmmakers are looking at a Pongal release in 2017 for the film.

The private launch event, held at the Konidela Production Company office, was attended by Allu Arjun, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, Naga Babu, Allu Aravind, Koratala Siva, Sharath Marar, Gemini Kiran, DVV Danayya, Thirupati Prasad, Paruchuri Venkateshwara and close family members.
