Rolling Stones member Mick Jagger and his ex-wife Jerry Hall are said to have banned their 18-year-old daughter Georgia May Jagger from attending a function as her exams were coming up.

Georgia, who is studying art, photography and sociology, was due to attend the launch of a fancy new range of 3D tellies on April 27, but was forced to send an apology after her parents grounded her.

"Georgia wanted to go and had accepted the invitation," the Sun quoted a source as saying.

"But she respects her parents and had to obey their rules. Mick wants her to focus on her exams.

"She's only got a few months to go so this is a crucial time," the source added.
