Actor Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mimoh, whose debut movie crashed, is now ready for his second stint

Mimoh Chakraborty has been lying low lately but he is preparing to make a comeback in the industry with film-maker Vikram Bhatt’s movie Haunted. The film that is set to be India’s first 3D horror movie will have Hollywood technicians working on it.

Mimoh is evidently excited about being part of a big budget venture. He reveals, “I am very excited to be a part of Haunted. It is India’s first stereo-scopic digital 3D film and it has the same technical crew that has worked in movies like The Incredible Hulk and Resident Evil: After Life.”

The young actor is pinning all hopes on Vikram as he says, “I am so lucky to be a part of this film as I’m getting a chance to work with Vikram Bhatt, one of the most talented directors of Indian cinema today. He chose me because he saw something in me. I have this film resting on my shoulders and it is a huge responsibility. A responsibility I see growing every time I go on the sets.”

He adds, “He is always smiling and has complimented me on my performance so many times that I feel honoured and am on cloud nine. He called me an intelligent actor I am enjoying every bit of the film. I have put in a lot of hard work and I hope it pays off and people like my performance in it as much as I have enjoyed doing it.”

Talking about why he chose the horror genre which is presumed to be a safe bet at the box office, Mimoh says, “I chose horror because I have always been attracted to it and I will finally get a chance to scare people rather than getting scared. It has been over 10 days that I have been shooting for Haunted and I have already learnt so much from my director.”
