TV host Jimmy Fallon hilariously spoofed Ryan Lochte while presenting the award for Video of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards.
As the funnyman made his way on stage, Lochte's fellow Team USA swimmer Michael Phelps who attended the show to introduce Future's performance couldn't help but snap a picture from his seat.
Dressed in athletic gear and sporting the swimmer's icy blue Olympics hair color, Fallon, 41, poked fun at Lochte's Rio robbery scandal while subtly referencing the five artists up for the night's most prestigious honor: Justin Bieber, Adele, Kanye West, Drake and Beyonce, reported Us Weekly.
"Is it too late now to say sorry?" the late-night host began, singing along to the tune of Bieber's hit song.
"That's my jam, that's my jam. It should be my jam. I wrote that song. I did it. I wrote it. I produced it. I directed the video. I did. It happened. In fact, I directed all five nominees for Video of the Year. What an amazing year I have had, it's true. I'm the one who gave Adele the flip phone, hello? I need to Hotline Bling that thing," the Saturday Night Live alum continued, taking aim at Lochte's admission that he "overexaggerated" a story about being held up at gunpoint at a gas station in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
"...What a year I have had. I made Lemonade with Queen Bey. I am Reezy with the good hair, come on! Anyway, who had the best video of the year, I can't tell you that," he concluded before he eventually revealed that Beyonce won the coveted Moonman.
"They are all so great and so talented, I couldn't choose. I couldn't tell you even if there was a gun to my head. Which there isn't, but I couldn't choose I still couldn't choose."
