A bit disheartened that her film ‘Ek Chaalis Ki Last Local’ didn’t do well, actor Neha Dhupia recently visited a nature spa near Rishikesh below the Himalayas.
“For a week, I disconnected myself from reality. It was thrilling to learn that international celebs like Madonna, Kate Winslet and Hilary Swank had also stayed in this out-of-the- world locale.
With clouds sailing past my bedroom windows, I felt I was like a princess on cloud nine,” enthuses the actor who has also completed the movie ‘I Think I Am 24’, which has Rajat Kapur and Ranvir Shorey.
“It’s a light romantic comedy,” smiles Neha who has also acted in Sanjay Gupta’s short flick ‘Strangers in the Night’.
“No, there is no skin show. It’s a taut thriller of around 10 minutes. Mahesh Manjrekar is my co-star,” discloses Neha who is excited that she gets to act with Naseeruddin Shah for the second time in ‘Chala Murari Murder Karne’, an adaptation of Paresh Rawal’s hit Gujarati play ‘Maharathi’ (directed by Shivam Nair).
“While I have played Naseersaab’s moll in ‘Mittya’, here I play his wife while,” she explains.
Neha has also played the lead in the entertainer ‘Rama Rama , Kya Hai Drama’ starring Anupam Kher and Rajpal Yadav.
