If not an actor Hollywood star Nicolas Cage says, he would have been a criminal.

"One of the best ways to prevent crime is to have more drama courses for young people who are at that crossroads of making a split-second decision that might put them in prison for the rest of their lives," The Daily Star quoted Cage as saying.

"If I didn't have this outlet I probably would have turned to crime. But I didn't," he added. Meanwhile, the Conair star has threatened to sue his ex-wife if she went ahead with a press conference about their ongoing legal battle.

Christina Fulton has filed a lawsuit against the actor and his business manager for allegedly ruining her plans to sell her house.

She had scheduled a press conference, in which she planned to elaborate on claims Cage subjected her to "mental, physical and emotional abuse" - but cancelled at the last minute.
