'NOTA' starring Vijay Devarakonda, Mehreen Pirzada, Sanchana Natarajan, Nasser and Sathyaraj is expected to release on October 4

The makers of one of the most anticipated Tamil films this year, NOTA, starring Vijay Devarakonda is finally out!

The film which marks the Tamil debut of Vijay, is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, intense political thriller, which will see the Arjun Reddy actor as a reluctant politician.

In the political drama, Vijay can be seen as a leader of sorts, while Mehreen Pirzada will be seen essaying the role of a journalist, and actors Nasser and Sathyaraj can been seen playing pivotal roles as godfathers of an upcoming political party.

The first trailer of NOTA is very impressive, bold, reflective and rightly introduces us to a political drama, which happens to be the core of the film's plot.

In the trailer, we go on to see a unwilling Vijay take on as the chief minister, under Sathyaraj's guidance.

What follows is a series of scandalous events where Vijay's character is written off as a playboy, is accused of alcoholism and of using drugs. The actor's is tested and his position and power is questioned by his opponent, played by Sanchana Natarajan.

Driving this impactful drama with vengeance is Nasser, a strong-headed leader who looks like he belongs to the same side as Vijay, but is at loggerheads with the newcomer's ideologies and way of handling things in politics.

The spectacular trailer of NOTA hints at an out and out political tale revolving around the rise, fall and rise of Vijay's character, who represents the younger generation, the future creators and struggles to understand dirty politics.

.

Apart from Vijay's amazing performance, what really caught our eyes was Sathyaraj and Nasser's impressive screen presence in the trailer that makes us curious about NOTA and the kind of film it will be. The two actors, evidently are spine of this upcoming political film.

Directed by Anand Shankar, who was last making it to the headlines for his science fiction thriller Iru Mugan alongside Vikram, NOTA is expected to release on October 4.
