Oviya's women-centric adult comedy-drama 90ml has opened to polarized views between critics and the public. The film which hit the cinemas on Friday has created a debate on Twitter and Facebook on the 'misuse' of creative freedom with popular producers and critics locking horns with each other.
Producer Dhananjayan Govind, best known for bankrolling films such as Thaandavam, Kaatrin Mozhi, Settai, and Ivan Thanthiran to name a few, took to his Twitter page to express his strong displeasure about the film. Dhananjayan opined that films like 90ml are detrimental to the society and censured film's director Anita Udeep for coming up with such an idea.
90ml has released alongside Arun Vijay's investigative thriller Thadam, which has opened to good reviews from both critics and the general populace.
