Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who has been sentenced to 26 years of jail by anti-terrorism court for blasphemy, is shocked by the decision.
The 30-year-old actress said in an interview that she had faith in higher courts in Pakistan but the final verdict will do justice to her, Gulf News reported.
Malik asserted that she dreamt of building a hospital in Pakistan and do other good work and this sentence was ridiculous and she was innocent.

Pakistan's biggest media group Geo TV has also faced the heat as the verdict against Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman along with the host of the show and two guests, including Malik was announced by an anti-terror court in the city of Gilgit, in Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan region.
The morning show broadcast live on Geo TV in May featured Malik dancing with her new husband while a group of Sufi musicians sang a devotional song about the wedding of the Prophet Mohammad's (PBUH) daughter.
The model continues to take her stand that she never danced in the show and was seated in a respectable manner.
