Ever since Pawan Kalyan announced his entry into politics ahead of the 2014 elections, there has been great anticipation surrounding his every political move. The Telugu star has been actively campaigning his party manifestos for a long time now and it was on Tuesday that his contesting constituencies were finally announced as Bhimavaram and Gajuvaka in the respective districts of East Godavari and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier in the day, the actor took to Twitter to announce that a decision was being made on his contesting constituencies by the General Body of his Janasena Party.
His brother Megastar Chiranjeevi also had contested from two locations – his native Palacole and Tirupati – when he made his debut into politics in 2009 with the now defunct political party the Praja Rajyam Party. Eventually, he merged into the Congress Party. It is to be seen how things work for the younger brother who is being considered a force to reckon with in the political arena.
