Peter Andre has been named the celebrity father of the year for the second time in a row at the Premier Inn award in Kensington.
Andre, ex-husband of model Katie Price a.k.a Jordan, has top the list, beating Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish, the first gay parents who were short-listed for the award.
“This means a huge amount to me because being a dad is my most important role. It’s a tremendous feeling” the Daily Express quoted the 38-year-old father as saying.
Andre is father to Junior, 6, and Princess, 4, from his marriage to Jordan and stepfather to her son Harvey, 9.
The award was presented to honour a star for “balancing a hectic public life with the demands of parenting.”
