Prince's 'Purple Rain' items are up for an auction next month

The ruffled shirt and biker jacket Prince wore in the movie Purple Rain are to go under the hammer at an auction next month.
Bidding on the silk shirt will start at $3,000 when the eBay sale begins on July 1, while the corduroy jacket will be on offer for US $6,000, reported Billboard.
The items are part of the auction website's Hollywood Auction 83, a three-day event.
The big sale also features memorabilia linked to James Bond Daniel Craig, Britney Spears and Marilyn Monroe.
