Actor R Madhavan underwent surgery for a bad shoulder injury and is reportedly on the track to recovery.
The star, also fondly called Maddy, took to his Instagram account to reveal that though he has had a surgery, at the moment he can't feel his right arm. He is seen lying in the hospital bed. Though he was attached to tubes and drips, he smiled for the photograph.
He captioned the image, "Shoulder surgery done... fighter back on track... cannot feel my right arm ha ha ha..."
Madhavan's digital debut Breathe is enjoying a good run. Breathe, directed by Mayank Sharma, is about Danny Mascarenas, a doting father, who goes amok when he learns his son faces death.
“I’ve played a baddie in Tamil films. But this will be my first outing as a dark character in the Hindi space. I don’t want to reveal much about the character except that it will be difficult for the audience to choose sides. You will be driven by conditioning and what is socially correct to decide,” he said about his character in the series.
He will be next seen in Chanda Mama Door Ke, a movie inspired by the life events of rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan. The movie will release in Hindi, Tamil, and English. Sushant Singh Rajput and Mobin Khan will join him as star cast.
Maddy made his Tamil comeback with Irudhi Suttru and Vikram Vedha topped all expectations in 2016.
