Rakul Preet Singh's brother Aman Preet Singh arrested in drugs case in Hyderabad

Rakul Preet Singh's younger brother Aman Preet Singh and four Nigerians have been arrested by Hyderabad Police in a drug case on Monday, July 15. The Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau busted a drug racket in which 2.6 kgs of heroin was brought to the Telangana capital city.

The IANS agency shared a video on its X (formerly known as Twitter) account and wrote, "Telangana: Aman Preet Singh, a small-time actor, and four Nigerians were detained by the Cyberabad Commissionerate in a drug abuse case. The Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau, led by IPS officer Sandeep Sandilya, busted a drug racket involving 2.6 kgs of cocaine brought to Hyderabad by a gang led by a woman. They identified 30 potential consumers in Hyderabad and submitted their names to the Cyberabad Commissionerate."

The Hyderabad Police held a press conference on Monday and shared the details of the case. As per a Hindustan Times report, the cops said at the press meet, "I will only comment on whom Aman is connected to once we investigate the case more. We need to check when his association began with the accused, who consist of some Indians and Nigerians. Some of them are repeat offenders. But we believe it might be for a year and a half. Aman tested positive for using cocaine in the urine test. It is confirmed that he’s an actor, he did not say if it’s on Tollywood or elsewhere."

The police has seized 199 grams of cocaine, 2 passports, 2 bikes and 10 cell phones in connection with this case.
