Tollywood actor Ram Charan, who started shooting for the upcoming Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan under the direction of Surender Reddy, has now signed another film with one of the top directors in Tollywood.

Ram Charan believes in strong content and recently told media that Bollywood should learn from south films in terms of content. His movie with Sukumar is likely to be a strong story as is Jayam Raja's Thani Oruvan.

It was rumoured for many months that Sukumar will direct Ram Charan in his next. Now the actor has finally signed his new movie with Sukumar. Ram Charan and Sukumar met recently and have agreed to work together. It is touted to be a romantic love story and after Orange, Charan will be seen in a complete romantic entertainer. The film will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers and is likely to go on floors from August. The makers are planning for a Sankranthi release.

After facing a lot of criticism for his film Bruce Lee, Ram Charan took a gap before he started shooting for the Thani Oruvan Telugu remake. Rakul Preet is featuring as the female lead with him. This movie may release in the month of August.

Sukumar had announced that he is going to introduce music director Devi Sri Prasad as a hero in his next, but due to the Ram Charan movie, he has moved that project to 2017.  At present, Sukumar is planning to remake his super hit film Kumari 21F into Kannada and will be the producer of the film.
