Producer and director Sanjay Leela Bansali's new film Ram Leela is an romantic-drama film. It stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as leads. The film is said to be an adaptation of Shakespeare's epic love story Romeo and Juliet, set in violent times. The film will be released on 15th November, 2013.
Bhansali began his career as an assistant to Vidhu Vinod Chopra and was involved in the making of Parinda, 1942: A Love Story and Kareeb. Sanjay Leela Bansali's last film as director was Guzaarish staring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan.
