For some reason, actress Konkona Sen Sharma and actor Ranvir Shorey are reluctant to talk about their impending parenthood. But they admit that they are looking forward to it and are slowly “settling down” to their new phase of life.

“We are both looking forward to it (the birth of their first child). We are getting used to the fact that our lives are going to change,” says Ranvir.

Even as Ranvir will be on the run to promote his films, Konkona will be staying back at home as she will be in the advanced stages of pregnancy. Sources say that Konkona will be delivering in the first half of 2011.

Sources say that Konkona’s sister Kamalini and mom, filmmaker Aparna Sen, will be flying down from the US and Kolkata respectively to be with her during the birth. Konkona, who is back after visiting her sister will be staying mostly at home.

“I am in Singapore during November but Konkona won’t be on the run for now. Both of us have been so busy that we have not been able to go on a honeymoon also,” he adds.

The husband frankly admits that though they don’t discuss work at home, he is fully aware of the fact that Konkona is a bigger star than him.

“Let’s face the fact, she is a far more successful actor than I am. She is a star in commercial cinema and I am yet to reach where she is now. But we never discuss work at home and so that (star status) is never a problem or a solution,” he admits. As of now, Konkona is busy reading books and watching movies. She will be returning on the sets soon after the birth of their baby, and will be next seen in a small cameo role in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Saat Khoon Maaf where Priyanka Chopra is playing the lead.
