Rashmika Mandanna will be seen next with Ranbir Kapoor in Animal and Allu Arjun in Pushpa 2: The Rule.

On Friday, September 1, Rashmika Mandanna shut down reports about her opting out of the Telugu language Venky Kudumula film with Nithiin, which has the working title of VNRTrio, and choosing a Shahid Kapoor-starrer Hindi film.

The actress took to X (previously known as Twitter) and responded to a news portal that stated, "Rashmika opted out of #Nithin – Venky Kudumula’s film citing dates issues. She chose to do Shahid Kapoor’s film over this, but as per latest reports, that Hindi film has been called off due to budgeting reasons. She has #Animal and #Pushpa2TheRule coming up!". "“This was confirmed by anyone? But because it’s about me...I can say it’s not true", Rashmika reacted.

In March, Rashmika, Nithiin, and the filmmaker Venky had announced their film with a hilarious promo. A couple of days later, the team held a massive launch event in which Chiranjeevi sounded the clapboard for the mahurat shot while director Bobby switched on the camera and another director Gopichand Malineni directed the first shot. A few days ago, there had been reports that the actress had left the film but now she herself has stated that these rumours were not true.

Meanwhile, Rashmika will be seen next in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's crime drama Animal, in which she shares screen space with Ranbir Kapoor. The much-awaited gangster film, slated to released on December 1, also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri in pivotal roles.

Pushpa 2, the sequel of the Allu Arjun-starrer blockbuster, hasn't announced its release date yet, but recenly it was reported that the makers are planning to release the film on March 22. Recently, Allu Arjun created history recently when he became the first Telugu actor to win the National Film Award for Best Actor for the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise.
