Actor-filmmaker V Ravichandran is known for his highly evolved aesthetic sense, right from his much-hyped debut Premaloka. It has been a while since Ravichandran has directed a film, but news is that he has been working on his film Manjina Hani for a while now. “When you don’t think something is going right, it is better to start over than make amends,” he says, adding that’s exactly what he has done.
“Manjina Hani is a project that is very close to my heart. It is one of those films that need that extra bit of attention. Right from the time I chose to rework on the script, it has got extra attention from me. This is why I am ensuring that I give in my best for this film. So much so that it does not matter even if the release gets a bit delayed.”
Apart from directing and producing the film, Ravichandran is also composing the music and writing the lyrics, story, screenplay and dialogues for this film. “It is my film after all. When I have a certain vision as a filmmaker, I’d be the only one who can understand it the best. This is why I took on the collective responsibility of all these departments,” he says.
As of now, Ravichandran is working on adding special effects. “It will take a while before the film releases. I’m not going to disappoint my fans,” says the star, who’s also upbeat about the other films that he’s working in as an actor.
“Happy Husbands will be a fun film. It was great working with a talented cast, which included Ramesh Aravind and Vijay Raghavendra. There’s also Narasimha, which will is a typical entertainer that I’m shooting for currently,” says Ravichandran.
