Is it a promotional strategy for this Rajkumar Hirani film or something else? Find out the full story!

This year’s biggest and much awaited release, Aamir Khan’s PK is finally out in theatres today which I am sure most of you are going to watch right away! But do you know how Reliance Industries is contributing to this Rajkumar Hirani blast?

From what we hear, one of the country’s largest private sector companies, Reliance Industries Limited, has bought 58000 tickets of PK well in advance, for its employees and their respective families. Yes! Now isn’t that some huge share on their part?

Speaking of which, this accounts to a heavily loaded investment of about Rs 1.5-2 crore for this special screening of PK, that’ll run across most of the single screens and multiplexes of Mumbai. But now, before you trigger your speculations around Reliance’s profit share or any of those promotional sorts, let us clear the air that this big initiative has been only considered for celebrating Reliance Family Day that’s coinciding on the 27-28th of December.

It’s the 82nd birth anniversary of RIL’s founder chairman Dhirubhai Ambani this year. So living up to this grand occasion like every year, the team has decided to celebrate it with Aamir’s PK, towards the last weekend of December.
