Here's when the veteran actress won us over with her wonderful characters on Television shows...

Veteran actress Reema Lagoo left for heavenly abode following a cardiac arrest on May 18, early in the morning around 3 am. The actress managed to keep us entertained and had secured a place in our hearts through the various characters thst she played on screen, be it films or Television.

So here's remembering her contribution in her 38 year long career span, by picking 3 of our favourite TV serials in which she acted:

1) Shrimaan Shrimati (1994)

Shrimaan Shrimati, remains unmatched even today! A famous sitcom by Sri Adhikari Brothers, depicts the hilarious tale of two middle aged men being in awe of their neighbours' wife. It starred Jatin Kanakia, Rakesh Bedi, Reema Lagoo and Archana Puran Singh in the lead roles. Reema Lagoo played the character of Jatin Kanakia's wife as Kokila Kulkarni a.k.a Koki. She was depicted as a smart home maker and is admired by Dilruba Jarnail Singh Khurana (Rakesh Bedi).

2) Tu Tu Main Main (1994-2004)

Tu Tu Main Main is an Indian sitcom television series which aired on DD Metro and later on Star Plus. Directed by Sachin Pilgaonkar and written by Sajeev Kapoor, it's a hilarious comedy.
Reema Lagoo played the character of a dominant mother in law. Lagoo won the Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Comic Role for Tu Tu Main Main.

3) Do Hanso Ka Jodaa (2010)

It's a soap opera that was written by Zama Habinb and directed by Kaushik Ghatak. Here, Reema Lagoo was seen in a completely different avatar as Snehlata. She is like the ‘Devi’ in the house where everyone worships her. All her decisions are accepted with no questions asked. Snehlata worships Krishnaji and believes that he plays a very big role in helping her make her choices and decisions

Apart from these, Reema Lagoo had been a part of numerous Television shows and always entertained us with her characters. Also, she was currently a part of the Star Plus show, Naamkaran wherein she played the role of an antagonist as Dayavanti Mehta. Her sudden demise left all her co-stars from Naamkaran as well as other shows in shock! The team of Naamkaran had cancelled the shoot for the day. The show's producers had even informed us that Lagoo had said that she'll be back on the sets at 11 am the next day, when she was leaving the sets a day before the fateful incident.

May her soul RIP!
