SRK to have a special appearance in 'Baahubali 2'

None of us saw this one coming! The grand sequel Bahubali: The Conclusion, wrapped up in the first week of January and is in post-production stage, gearing up for its release on April 28. And behold! A tabloid has reported that Shah Rukh Khan has been roped in for a special appearance in the film. Filmmaker Karan Johar had come on-board for its original, Bahubali: The Beginning, as a presenter on May 1, 2015, before the film's July 10 release, and will continue to be associated with the sequel.

Bahubali: The Conclusion comes with the promise to be bigger and better than the original film, which won the National Award for Best Feature Film and Best VFX, and was one of the most talked about projects at the Busan Asian Film Market. It has garnered plenty of excitement among distributors and exhibitors worldwide. And the film will see a global and Indian release simultaneously.

A source close to the development told the tabloid, “The makers had approached South actors like Suriya and Mohanlal for a cameo in the Telugu film, which will be dubbed and released in Tamil and Hindi. But now it will be Shah Rukh who plays the character of a mediator between protagonist Prabhas and villain Rana Daggubati. It is an interesting sequence in the narrative." This will also be the first time wherein SRK will dub for a role in three languages.
