Hollywood superstar Sylvester Stallone has given the green signal to be in India during the last week of May. Accompanying him will be sexpot Denise Richards and Brandon ‘Superman’ Routh.

Stallone, Richards and Routh will be in India to attend the premiere of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambakkht Ishq in which they have played a cameo alongside the lead actors of the film, Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. This is the first time that Hollywood A-listers are coming down to India to attend the premiere of an Indian film.
Confirms Sajid, “Stallone, Brandon and Denise have told me that they would like to be a part of the premiere in India. Stallone will be coming down to see how the Indian audience reacts after seeing him on-screen. The dates would have been finalised by now had there not been the strike (between multiplexes and film producers). As soon as we reach a settlement there, we would be able to confirm a date to these stars and start the liaison to bring them to India.”

Though it was reported earlier that Sajid was planning to hold a premiere in London to facilitate the coming of the Hollywood stars after 26/11, Sajid says that he has scrapped those plans and the premiere will be held in India.

“Stallone is also keen on visiting Jaipur and Udaipur. But the exact itinerary will be kept hush-hush due to security concerns,” says a source close to the film’s unit.

According to sources from his production house, the process to bring in Stallone has already started and the Mumbai police have been sounded off to prepare the security arrangements. Sajid will also be reportedly arranging a security cordon on his own since he will be their host. The producer is taking no chances since only a few months back he and his family were robbed at gunpoint by their own security guard who was recruited by Salman Khan’s personal bodyguard, Shera.

“Thanks to the swift action, the guy has been caught and I  got back everything that was robbed (about Rs50 lakh in cash and jewellery). Yes, after the incident I have become very careful. But I don’t blame anyone for the mishap,” ends Sajid.
