After his menacing act in Kaabil, Ronit Roy will be seen in Sarkar 3, sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time.
There was a time when Ronit himself was called the Big B of the small screen. He even shares his birthday with the superstar. Moreover, Ronit’s security agency provides protection to Big B. “I have escorted him a couple of times,” reveals Ronit.
The actor says working with Bachchan “is pretty much controlled, nothing goes wrong.” The best part about being in Sarkar 3, he says is, being in practically every scene with Bachchan as he plays his right-hand man. “With him, there is a lot of respect and love at the same time. While there is an eagerness to learn, I am careful not to be too inquisitive or pushy.” However, he says he shared a wonderful equation with Bachchan “purely because he behaves like I would behave on the sets of Adaalat (TV show). He is humorous and keeps making the whole set laugh”. Did Bachchan compliment him on any particular scene? “It’s just way he looks at you, smiles, and pats your back. But Abhishek said that I have done good work in the film.”
As for his role, he says it’s completely different from what he has done so far. “My character is quieter, his actions speak more than words.”
