Rosa Catalano is missing

Actor Rosa Catalano has found herself in the middle of a storm after she was found missing from the promotional event of a film she was starring in.

The producers allege that Rosa — Saif Ali Khan’s former girlfriendwho has now turned into an item girl in Bollywood — has deliberately broken her contract.

“She had done an item number for a film called Nakshatra and the producers signed a contract with her saying  she will be available to promote the film before it releases. But suddenly, Rosa started asking for more money to promote the film. The producers refused to pay her more,” says a source.

When After Hrs got in touch with Rosa’s friend after her mobile was found to be ‘disconnected’, she replied that Rosa is out of the country and is “not expected to return immediately”.

The producer of the movie, Ravindra Singh, confirmed that Rosa was missing from the event and said that they are facing immense difficulty due to her absence.

“We are facing a lot of difficulties to promote our film,” says Singh. Singh confirms that Rosa has been given the complete payment for her item song.

“It’s sad how some people take upcoming producers for a ride. I should have put a clause in the agreement that 30% of the payment will be released along with the release of the film and not before that,” Singh adds.

However, a friend close to Rosa denied the allegations saying that Rosa never asked for any additional money.

“Rosa is very professional and she will never make any unjustified demand. She was missing from the promotional event because she had to go out of the country urgently due to some personal reasons. One cannot foresee such things,” her friend says.
