Priyanka Chopra's Tweets announcing that she's performing a 'lavni' with Deepika Padukone in Bajirao Mastani have not been recieved well by her director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Sources close to the filmmaker say he didn't want the information pertaining to this historic dance to come out as yet.
Says the source, "A big publicity campaign was planned around the film's climactic dance number being choreographed by Remo D'Souza and featuring the two Bajirao Mastani divas Deepika and Priyanka.Announcing it through two two tweeted lines was certainly not Mr Bhansali's idea of breaking the film's big story."
Worse, the news of the beauties' joyous jugalbandi on the dancefloor has been distorted. Apparently Deepika and Priyanka are not performing a lavni, as reported. Says the source from the Bajirao Mastani team, "It is a folk dance. But it is not lavni. We don't know how or why this misinformation has been spread. And if Priyanka Chopra wrote about it, it is strange she doesn't know which dance form she is performing."
