'Sarkaru Vaari Paata': Keerthy Suresh to play female lead opposite Mahesh Babu in upcoming film

Keerthy Suresh celebrated her birthday on October 17 and turned 28 this year. On the occasion of the same, the actor was given a warm welcome by Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu to the team of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The film which was announced earlier this year will mark the first outing of Mahesh and Keerthy on the big screen. Mahesh posted a candid click of the birthday girl with a caption welcoming her to the film.

He wrote, "Here’s wishing the super talented @keerthysureshofficial a very happy birthday!! Team #SarkaruVaariPaata welcomes you aboard!! Will make sure it’s one of your most memorable films. Have a great one!!!"

Earlier during an Instagram 'Ask me anything' session, Mahesh described Sarkaru Vaari Paata as 'a complete entertainer with a strong message. I am really excited about it.' While his wife Namrata Shirodkar stated, "everything you will really enjoy."

The motion poster of the film was unveiled during Mahesh's 45th birthday celebrated this year. Earlier there were reports making the rounds that Ananya Panday is being considered to play the second female lead in the film. However, the makers have not made the official announcement about the same.

Geetha Govindam helmer Parasuram will be directing Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The title track of the film was sung by Haarika Narayan. The music was composed by Thaman S, while the lyrics were penned by Anannth Sriram. The official release date of Sarkaru Vaari Paata is yet to be announced. But the film is definitely set to be a 2021 release.
