A lowdown of what Kate Middleton wore on her India tour so far.
Sartorial choices of Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, have been an inspiration to anyone who loves vogue and to everyone who look at the most talked about Royal family, the Windsors.
When the Royal tour for India began, many articles were published speculating what wardrobe will the Princess bring to the hot summer of the Indian subcontinent. When the Royal couple went on the tour of North America and Australia before that, Kate's dress choices showed the Hollywood stars why she is one of the style icons. She did the same for Bollywood too.
She is not forthcoming about her choices like her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, but she knows how to balance the modern trend with a conservative perspective. She makes the Royal fashion look chic.
While in Bhutan, before coming to India, on her last day, she sent a message that they are coming by favouring Indian designer Saloni's elusive dress in deep blue.
And then they left for India.

Day one
Morning
Kate and William arrived in Mumbai around noon and went straight to Taj Mahal Palace to pay their tributes to victims of 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Kate was wearing red Alexander McQueen, the very designer she trusted to make her wedding gown. Designed by Sarah Burton, the dress has a paisley motif. The peplum cut was leaning towards oriental look. She paired it with nude pumps and dull gold earrings.
She announced her arrival in style.

Afternoon
This came as a surprise to everyone. Kate picked Indian designer Anita Dongre paired with nude wedges when she decided to spend some quality time with underprivileged kids and visit Banganga Water Tank in Mumbai.
And not to mention play the gentlemen's game with God of cricket. For those who didn't get it, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge played a charity game of cricket with none other than Sachin Tendulkar.

Evening -
This was time to spend the evening with the glitterati of Bollywood. Stars who sometimes live in designer wears. Yes, I am looking at you Sonam Kapoor and that Elie Saab was spectacular by the way.
Kate chose Jenny Packham. Her trusted designer. The dress was inspired by saree to give it a bit of Indian touch. The beading on the dress was done India. Kate paired the dress with Amrapali earrings, another shout out to Indian designer.
Kate was welcomed by Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the charity gala. Biggies of Bollywood and business were present. And in the sea of beige, Kate's Cobalt blue stood out proud.

Day two
Morning
Visiting Social Offline to have a chat with Indian start-up entrepreneurs, Kate chose beige herself. This time, it was mid length Emilia Wickstead in wool. The trusted nude pumps were back. With delicately placed hair, she looked serene and the epitome of casual chic.

Evening
The Royal Couple were invited to join the pre-celebrations of Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday in New Delhi. Kate attended the affair wearing an Alice Temperley dress. The stunning dress, a crop top, and maxi skirt was fit for a garden party. Paired with open toe sandals and chandelier earrings the combination was elegantly killer!

Morning
Still in the capital, Duke and Duchess spent time with street kids at the Salaam Baalak Trust.
Kate was wearing a long red maxi dress with a belt added in the middle by budget label Glamourous. Paired with nude flat, she made boho-chic royal.

For her lunch with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kate again chose a teal Alice Temperly dress. Intricate lace enhanced the look of the mock high-neck dress. The trusted nude pumps were still there.

Evening-
To watch the traditional dace at the Bihu festival at Kaziranga national park in Assam, Kate went for a quick change after a short flight. She preferred printed Anna Sui dress, paired with blue suede wedges. Later she added the traditional Assamese gamcha around her neck as she obliged the image requests from the folk dancers.
