Kamal Sidhu on her wanderlust, international TV projects and buying a flat in Mumbai.
Living out of a suitcase has become a way of life, but Kamal Sidhu isn't complaining. "Life has been a whirlwind journey of sorts," laughs Kamal, adding that she's headed to Uttaranchal for a two-week shoot. "It's for a documentary that will be aired on Discovery India," she explains. Probe further and all she reveals is that the show will combine spirituality and adventure.
However, she's very excited about the response her US-based show has garnered. "It's called 'Chasing Nature' and it's a reality show with shades of sci-fi and adventure. Every week, four engineers are given the resources to create a mechanical equivalent of an animal! It's a new concept and the audiences love it!" she enthuses.
With her TV presence, hasn't the Bollywood bug bitten her yet? Kamal says she's open to the idea, "But it has to be worth the effort."
Lastly, when does she plan to settle down? "I've been bitten by the travel bug!" she laughs. "After taping in the US, I went to Canada to meet my family, then to Hawaii and to LA. Now, I'm here. So, yes, settling down won't be easy. That said, I'm toying with the idea of buying a flat in Mumbai."
