Actor Shabbir Ahluwalia, who rose to fame with his bad boy act as Rishi Garewal in Kahin to Hoga, is severely ill. The actor is suffering from fever, jaundice and typhoid.
Shabbir, who is currently part of the show Kayamath (plays the lead
character Milind), has not been able to shoot because of his illness.

A source reveals, “The show has taken a five year leap with the lead pair—Shabbir( Milind) and Panchi Bora (Prachi) being required to shoot continuously. However with Shabbir’s illness, the script has been altered.”

A unit member reveals, “It was almost two weeks back when Shabbir complained of health problems. He also called his family doctor on the sets. But within a few minutes, he collapsed on the sets. He was rushed to the nearest hospital. Later he was taken home.”

Shabbir’s close friend reveals, “Being a part of daily shows implies shooting day in and day out. It all started with fever and eventually took the form of jaundice. Now, he has been diagnosed with typhoid too. It’s almost been two weeks since he is on bed. Instead of being hospitalised, Shabbir prefers being treated at home. He likes being with his near and dear ones. We hope he recovers soon.”

Sandiip Sickand, creative director of the show says, “We are really worried about Shabbir. I spoke to him a few days back. Things are better now. In his absence, the track is concentrating on Prachi and her son. From the audience to the unit members, all are missing him. We wish he gets well soon.”

Meanwhile, Shabbir has been showered with ‘get-well-soon’ bouquets at home.
