The two divas of Tinseltown have come together to belt out a number once again as they have recently shot for Anil Sharma’s Dunno Y...Na Jaane Kyun.

A source close to the development reveals, “In one of the scenes, the family is playing passing the parcel at a Christmas party. The buck stops at Helen and as punishment she has to perform a sexy dance number. So, Zeenat, who plays her bahu, is sceptical if Helen would be able to do it given her age but the latter proves her wrong and asks who can do it better than her and gives a shimmering dance performance.”

Kapil Sharma, the director, says, “There is a party sequence in the film which has Helen, Zeenat and Asha Sachdev, Rituparna Sengupta, Tara Sharma, Hazel and Mahabano Modi Kotwal. This scene was not easy as the entire sequence had to be completed in 2days as we had their combination dates just for 2days. Also couple of days before the shoot, Helen had sprained her leg and she had to really dance in this song but she insisted she would complete her work.”

Kapil adds, “We wanted to present these ladies as beautifully on screen as possible. For months we had been working on their looks. Zeenat was also dancing on screen after years. In fact Helen, Zeenat and Asha who were the glamourous quotient of 70s were dancing together for first time and focus of the song was on them.”

The director furthers, “A day before the shoot we realised Helenji gown cut is not appropriate for dancing so in one day we got another gown stitched. For Zeenat a dress was stitched six months back but when the schedule happened she had lost so much weight that we felt she can carry a more glamourous outfit. So at last moment we got her a more hipper and trendy gown.”

On Asha Sachdev doing the number, Kapil maintains, “She was supposed to wear a hot revealing deep neck red dress. Trials were done but a day before the shoot she felt red dress may not suit her and she got blue colour kurtis and leggings made overnight but on shooting day I suggested her to wear the red dress to check crew reaction and she got lot of compliments from crew and co-actors. On the day of the shoot all the ladies wanted to look their best so all of them took a real good time to get ready. It was a morning 9 am shift but the first shot was taken at 5 pm.”
