Shreya Ghoshal’s lilting voice enthralls Amdavadis

Shreya Ghosal, Bollywood's most sizzling singing sensation enthralled Amdavadis on Sunday's cool evening with her mesmerising numbers. Ghosal won the best female playback singer award for Teri Ore song in Singh is Kinng at the IIFA awards.

Pretty faced Shreya's soft lilting voice wooed the audience with her rendition of numbers like Bairi Piya from Devdas that managed to conjure up images of a nubile but willful young woman in an age where forceful voices are making merry. Her Jadoo Hai Nasha Hai was achingly sensual that made Amdavadis go delirious at live musical concert organized at the Rajpath Club and partnered by DNA.

The event was not only just a treat to the music lovers of the city, but will also help the backward class people.

“Twenty-five per cent of the profits from this show will be donated to the financially backward people,” said Brijraj Gadhvi, director of BG Events, organisers of the event.

Ghosal invited the audience to join her on journey of music with Chalo Tumko Lekar Chale Hum Un Fizao Mein from the film Jism. Although strong breeze made the singer uncomfortable, the singer in her made audience stay steadfast in their seats for nearly one and a half hour of absolute magic.
