Actress Shruti Haasan, who has been shuffling between three cities has finally found a place for herself. Shruti has been travelling to and from Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai. But the actor, who grew up in Chennai decided to make Mumbai her home. She is also very well-versed with the place, since she studied in St. Andrews College, Bandra. A source close to the actor reveals, “Shruti was always very clear that she wanted a house in Mumbai because that is where her heart actually is. She has a lot of friends across the globe but she loves coming back home to Mumbai. She has finally decided on a place for herself at Bandra. She chose Bandra because she likes to go out once she is back home from a long shoot and spend some time with her friends.”
A few days ago, Shruti spent some quality time with her old college friends and roamed around Mumbai, just like when she was in college. A source close to her says, “Shruti recently got a new apartment here. So, she managed to catch up with some old college friends. She invited them over and was having a gala time. Since it was raining heavily, they decided to have some fun outside in the rain. She sported a pair of flip flops, shorts and an umbrella and went out with friends to roam in Bandra, which is something you usually won’t see with
other stars.”
Shruti apparently went for a rickshaw ride with her friends and finally landed in Bandstand, ending their day by eating corn in the rain. Some bystanders even identified her and came up to her for autographs. She was extremely sweet to everyone and she apparently signed a lot of autographs and posed for pictures with her fans. But this is not the first time that the actor has been spotted with friends. Shruti likes to meet new people, visit new restaurants and sample different cuisines, so she is constantly spotted at various nightspots in the city with a couple of her close friends.
