Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, now under attack from the Shiv Sena over his comments favouring Pakistani cricketers in the IPL, will soon come out with a series of short films on the extraordinary life of martyrs and gallantry award winners of paramilitary forces. The series will depict the operations, many of them taking place in the militancy-hit Jammu and Kashmir and Naxal-infested states, during which the security personnel showed exemplary courage and sometimes even sacrificed their lives. The thirty-minute films will be titled Bando Mein Hai Dum and Veerta ki Sachchi Gatha and will be produced by Khan's television production arm -- Red Chillies Idiot Box.The home ministry had asked all the para-military forces -- CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, BSF, NSG and Assam Rifles -- to "examine the proposal" and prepare and collect relevant data so that it can "take a final view" on the project.According to sources, the home ministry had received the proposal last year by Red Chillies and a Delhi-based organisation 'Yuva' for making feature films on gallant para-military men in order to inspire and inform the public about their lives and sacrifices.
