'Enthiran 2' was to go on floors in December, but the delay in signing on Schwarzenegger has pushed the film back.

Superstar Rajinikanth has two films in hand right now – Pa Ranjith’s Kabali and Shankar’s Enthiran 2. The latest buzz doing the rounds about director Shankar’s Enthiran 2 is that Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is in talks to play the baddie opposite Rajinikanth, may be dropped.

Apparently, he has too many demands, which will push the budget of the film by another Rs 50 crore or so. According to the grapevine, Shankar has met with Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Neil Nitin Mukesh to see if either one of them could suit the role and come on board.

This sudden change has pushed the start date of Enthiran 2. The movie was to go on floors in December, but the delay in signing on Schwarzenegger has pushed the film back. It’s now reported that the movie will start towards the end of January or February 2016.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has 35 days of shoot left for Pa Ranjith’s Kabali. It’s being said that the actor will finish this film and then move on to Enthiran 2. The plan apparently is to complete Shankar’s film at one stretch now. The director wants everything to be finalised before they go on floors. There is also talk that there might be another actress in the film. If this is the case, then this actress is expected to be signed on over the next few weeks.
