Created by the husband-wife duo of Pushka-Gayatri, Suzhal: The Vortex is a Tamil language web series that has been garnering amazing reviews from the audience and the industry folks since it was released on Amazon Prime Video on June 17. And SS Rajamouli, one of the brilliant filmmakers in India, is the latest to share his views on the crime thriller.
Taking to his Twitter account, the RRR director shared the poster of the web series and tweeted, "Incredible work by @PushkarGayatri (clapping emoji) Amazed by what you guys managed to pull off! Congratulations! #Suzhal @PrimeVideoIN". The directors quoted the tweet and wrote, "Thank a ton Sir! Means a lot coming from you!!".
Starring Aishwarya Rajesh, Kathir, Sriya Reddy, R. Parthiban, and Harish Uthaman in the leading roles, the edge-of-the-seat thriller has been dubbed in over thirty Indian and foreign languages including Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Arabic, Turkish, and more.
Suzhal – The Vortex begins with the disappearance of a young girl from a small town in Tamil Nadu. What begins as a mere missing-person investigative drama, soon spirals into a heart-thumping thriller with a twist at every turn and a secret tumbling out of every corner of the story, threatening to tear apart the town and its delicate social fabric.
Talking about Pushkar-Gayatri, the duo is all set to make their Bollywood debut with the Hindi remake of their own 2017 blockbuster hit Vikram Vedha. In the Tamil film, Vijay Sethupathi's Vedha, a notorious gangster narrates three stories from his personal life to R. Madhavan's Vikram changing his perception of good vs evil.
