Bollywood has songs for almost all occasions.Given the general merry and colourful nature of Indians on various festivals, Bollywood doesn't leave you short of songs to dance and celebrate.

Dussehra is here. Your family and loved ones have gathered. Here, we give you a list of movies that had Dussehra or Durga Puja  scenes enacted in them either as a plot of the story or in a form of some songs. Take your pick, you can dance to these songs, or make a list for a movie marathon!

Swades- 'Pal Pal Hai Bhari'

A melodious song featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Gayatri Oberoi. It was a scene where Ramayana was being staged in Shah Rukh's village.This beautiful song has its lyrics written by Javed Akhtar and music by AR Rahman.

Delhi 6 - Ram Lila maidan scene

This scene which shows protagonist Abhishek Bachchan visiting Delhi's famous Ram Lila maidan. It does all justice in depicting the charismatic atmosphere at the venue. The movie is all about thronging attendees, their neighbourly tensions and the friction behind a successful event.

Tu Chahiye - Bajrangi Bhaijaan

This romantic song featuring Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan has a Dusshera scene where Salman, who is an ardent follower of Hanuman in the movie, is shown enjoying the Ram Lila in Delhi along with Kareena Kapoor. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a tale of a mute girl from Pakistan getting lost in India and the journey she takes with Salman Khan to get back to her country.

Vicky Donor- Paani Da

Yami Gautam plays the very sweet Bong girl in the movie. The song traces the journey of Ayushmmann and Yami as a couple. This song has the scene where the couple is seen  taking a selfie in a Durga Puja pandal.

Kahani climax scene

The climax of this popular movie starring Vidya Balan had Durga Puja as the backdrop. The scene was about Vidya's character killing Indraneil Sengupta's. The scene shows the climax taking place on Dusshera when the idol of Goddess Durga is immersed in the Ganga. This scene plays a perfect backdrop for Vidya taking revenge from Indraneil and indirectly showcasing the victory of good over the evil.

Dhanuchi in Parineeta

Sanjay Dutt performs Dhanuchi Nritya in this classic movie. Parinneta was Vidya's debut movie in Bollywood starring Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Raima Sen. Great music, serene locations, good story and powerful direction made Parineeta one of the biggest hits that year.
