Laya Gorty, popular Telugu actress, reportedly met with an accident in Los Angeles and is currently suffering injuries. Laya was travelling from California to Los Angeles when she met with the accident.
The 34-year-old actress was rushed to the hospital, and according to reports the doctors have said her condition is stable.
Laya started her Tollywood career with Swayamwaram in 1999 and later appeared in over 40 movies. In 2006, she married Dr Sri Ganesh Gorty and settled in California bidding goodbye to acting. The couple are parents to two children--their daughter Shloka and son Vachan.
The actress is a trained Kuchipudi dancer and has starred in Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam films apart from Tamil. She has also acted in over 50 plays.
She was the recipient of Nandi Best Actress Award twice. She acted in 2013 movie Adda.
