Thalapathy Vijay-Vijay Sethupathi starrer 'Master' full HD movie leaked on Tamilrockers, other sites

Highly-anticipated film 'Master' starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, which released on January 13, 2021 and became the first film to hit theatres this year amid the COVID-19 pandemic, has become a target of piracy sites such as Tamilrockers and Telegram among others, as per reports. 

The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial, which has been garnering much praise and has been doing well at the box office, is available in HD quality for free download. And, it is anticipated that the leak might affect the film's box office business and in turn, the collections. 

For the unversed, earlier, a few clips of Vijay from the film had leaked online before the movie hit theatres. Following that episode, the makers requested
fans to not share the leaked clips. Lokesh Kanagaraj tweeted, "Dear all it’s been a 1.5-year-long struggle to bring Master to u. All we have is hope that you'll enjoy it in theatres. If u come across leaked clips from the movie, please don’t share it. Thank u all. Love u all. One more day and #Master is all yours. (sic)”

Earlier, films and web series like 'AK vs AK', 'Laxmii', 'Ashram 2', 'Money Heist', 'The Lion King', 'Frozen 2', have all been target of piracy. 

Meanwhile, 'Master', which revolves around an alcoholic young professor John Durairaj aka JD and his encounter and clash with a deadly gangster who he comes with face-to-face during his tenure at a juvenile home where is sent to teach children for a couple of months, also stars Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah, and Ramya Subramanian amongst others. 

As far as Box Office Collection of the film is concerned, the film is extensively cashing in because of the festive fervour of Lohri, Makar Sankranti, and Pongal.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh also took to Twitter and shared the international figures of the movie. He wrote, "#Master hits it out of the park... Flying start at key international markets. *Day 1* biz...

According to Box Office India, Master recorded an extraordinary opening day number in Tamil Nadu with collections in the range of 20-21 crore net which is the second-highest opening ever in Tamil Nadu behind 'Sarkar' which was released on a national holiday.
