Malayalam singer Radhika Thilak was an extremely talented artist who didn’t get the opportunity to be as celebrated as fellow artists like Chitra. Thilak passed away on Sunday after battling cancer for one-and-a half years. 

Thilak died far too young but the 70 songs that she sang for Malayalam cinema made her a voice to reckon with. She sang songs for films as well as devotional numbers and performed extensively on stage.

Her famous film songs include, 'Arunakirana deepam' and 'Deva sangeetham' from Guru, 'Maya manchalil' from Ottayal Pattalam, 'Kaithapoo manam' from Sneham, 'Thiruvathira thira nokkiya' from Kanmadam, 'Ente ulludukkum kotti' and 'Ninte kannil' from Deepasthambham Mahascharyam.
