While Aamir Khan and his onscreen daughters from Dangal did not go on The Kapil Sharma Show, the stand-up comedian hosted the real Phogat family, which inspired the film.
A source present on the sets says, “While talking to them, Kapil asked Geeta and Babita whether they were still afraid of their father and and does he still stop them from indulging in spicy or chaat food items, as shown in the film?
Both the girls nodded and said, even now, they stay away from the chaat dish. So, Kapil arranged for a pani-puri stall, but surprisingly, two sisters didn’t waste time in gorging on the spicy chaat. Kapil even persuaded their father Mahavir to eat, but the wrestler had only one, saying, it didn’t fit in with his diet and fitness regime.”
