Nakuul Mehta, who is currently doing the TV show Ishqbaaz, is also producing his next web series after I Don’t Watch TV.
Called Gangster Newton, the series is a science meets underworld show. “My first series got a lot of positive feedback. It was amongst the top five shows on the list of various publications and websites. That’s when I decided to produce another one.
Gangster Newton is a quirky show, absolutely different from what you see on the web space. It’s about a genius who survives and thrives in the underworld purely by the only skill he has — Science,” says Nakuul, who has roped in Titli fame Shashank Arora to play the lead role. Nakuul himself will not be acting in it. “I may do a cameo, that’s all,” he says. The trailer will launch sometime later this week after which they will start shooting for the show.
