Amidst the controversy that the BJP has approached former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly to be the face of the party in West Bengal, dada is all set to host a Bengali reality television show that will scout for investment.
This decision to host the reality television show comes in the wake of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's request.
Banerjee broke the news of this show through a Facebook post that reads,
“Bengal is launching an exclusive business reality show in Bengali. The show will target young entrepreneurs, with unique business ideas and help them to achieve their dreams. Our very own Sourav Ganguly has come forward to be the face of the show. Sourav will ignite young minds to be successful entrepreneurs of tomorrow.”
The show, Egiye Bangla- aapni jokhon entrepreneur will be sponsored entirely by the West Bengal government. The show will be aired on a private entertainment channel and will encourage and promote start-ups across the state. The Chief Minister plans to create jobs for the unemployed youths of the state through this initiative.
Ganguly has already been hosting a Bengali reality show Dadagiri and is very famous among the households across the state.
According to the sources in the state government, Banerjee will have established entrepreneurs and several industry experts on her show, sharing the mantra of their success. These entrepreneurs will also help start-ups in establishing themselves in the state.
