Actor-politician Paresh Rawal said it is too early to raise questions on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's slogan 'Achche din', which marked BJP's campaign during the 2014 General elections.
Rawal, who has been elected as a BJP MP from East Ahmedabad constituency in Lok Sabha elections, said people should not doubt the new government as it will take time to bring changes.
"One should understand what the situation was earlier. Good days will come but it will take time. For the last 60 years you were sitting and in three months you point fingers at this man (Modi). I believe in Modi and have seen him working," Rawal said in an interview in Mumbai.
The 64-year-old actor, who has essayed the role of Indian statesman Sardar Vallabbhai Patel in Ketan Mehta's 'Sardar', said he can never leave acting and that he has not entered politics to make a long-term career in it.
"I will not leave acting... I am not here (politics) to make a career. I have got five years and I will work very hard towards it as I have taken up the responsibility to do something for society. I will do my best," he added.
The 'Hera Pheri' actor will be next seen in 'Raja Natwarlal' where he is playing mentor to a conman, played by actor Emraan Hashmi.
"There is lot to learn considering the kind of country we are living in. Our strength lies in our weakness, which is diversity. We don't have political will.. We are corrupt from inside," he said.
When asked how he juggles between his two professions, Rawal says he easily manages both.
"I think it is all about time management. I never had a secretary in the last 21 years and looked after my own work. It becomes easy for me to do things." he added.
